Consolata Kahawa Farmers

kahawa

This outstation is dedicated to Our Lady Consolata. As is the case with the other two outstation they participated in Sunday masses at Kahawa Garrison and Kamiti Prison. They initially were also put into contact with the then queen of apostles’ parish by Fr. Cogan. The catechetical classes were already going on by 1983 to 1985. The Ruaraka priests continued to visit the community. Challenged by Fr. Njuguna and Father Wamugunda to get a plot for the church, they struggled and were allocated a plot by Kiamumbi Farmers cooperative society in 1991 where they began to build a church in 1992 and thus they shifted from the inter-denominational hall where they had worshipped previously.
