This is the station where the founding Parish Priest first resided before moving to Kahawa West. Christians in this area had a good formation of catholic faith as they used to go for mass at Queen of Apostles Ruaraka and Kahawa Garrison until 1980. They then started using Soweto Social Hall to celebrate masses every Wednesday with Fr. Harnet. In 1983, the construction of church began with funds mainly coming from Christian’s contribution through harambee activities.

Later, Christians from Soweto, Marengeta and Quarry came together and started to attend Mass at Kahawa Primary School. Frs. David Kamau, (now Auxiliary Bishop of Nairobi) and Father Dominic Wamugunda celebrated the mass for them. Fr. By 1984 the Christians had completed constructing the church water became part of our new parish
